Clinical Interests:
My primary focus is working with adults who are experiencing difficulty from substance use disorder. I address client's motivation for change and like to focus on using their personal strengths to promote growth.
Clinical Approach:
I use motivational interviewing, DBT, and the 12 steps, in my approach to assist the client in recovery. The relationship between client, counselor and connections made in the sober community are key to helping the client in their recovery from addiction.
Hobbies:
I enjoy kayaking, fishing, and spending time with my family.
